When I was a young child I would ride from Atchison, Ks to Marshall, Mo with my great aunt and uncle, Eddie and Hazel (Craddock) Briggs for the Pennytown reunion. I remember wondering would we ever get there and how I always enjoyed breakfast at the WIlliams’ home prior to going to Pennytown. I remeember hating the outside bathrooms (smile), but enjoying the church service. I’m grown now and living in Florida, but my plan is to one day return to Pennytown.
